4th of July Booth at Highlands Festival Midway (Rec Center Parking Lot)
This coming Friday, July 4th, 2014, Crystal Springs UMC will be participating in celebrating the holiday by having a booth for the Highlands’ neighborhood 4th of July Festival right after the parade. We will be promoting the church in general, Centering Prayer Meditation, and Vacation Bible School.
Here’s more information about the Highlands neighborhood fireworks (7/3/14), parade and festival (7/4/14). It’s the neighborhood’s biggest event of the year which most local residents attend. And, yes, CSUMC is a part of the Highlands neighborhood so church members are quite welcome. Please come and visit our booth … it should be fun!
The booth will open from 11:00 a.m until about 3:00 p.m at the Highlands Recreation Center’s parking lot (otherwise known as the Festival Midway). If you can help with manning the booth, please email crystalspringsumc@gmail.com or just show up some time between 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Highlands Recreation Center, 1851 Lexington Ave., San Mateo.
