Our First Commandment

This Sunday’s service promises to be especially meaningful for many of us.

We will observe All Saints’ Day by lighting candles in memory of our dear departed loved ones, and then, later in the service, we will welcome a new member and celebrate the baptism of four young persons.   In her sermon, our pastor, Kata’i’i Tapa, will preach on “Our First Commandment,” based on the Scripture in Mark 12: 28-34. This Sunday’s musical offering will be provided by pianist Jonathan Wing and by our choir singing “This Little Light of Mine,” accompanied by piano and tambourine.  After the service we will gather in the Fireside Room for fellowship and refreshments.
