Reflections on Play Reading of “It’s A Wonderful Life”

Last Friday (July 25) the Crystal Springs Players held a reading of a radio play of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”  Along with regulars from the group we had three new people join us.

The radio play of course follows the story from the original movie.  A lot of sound effects are included to make the play more interesting.  The format is that of the plays produced on the radio in the Thirties and Forties.

The group found the reading very enjoyable and decided that we should do it for the community as a Christmas offering.   It tells a very good story.

We will set up dates for auditions and for the performances in the near future.   The auditions will probably be this fall.  If you are interested in trying out for this play watch this website or Nextdoor for the audition dates.
