Music

For many people music is important to their worship experience as well as to their life. Therefore, Crystal Springs UMC provides several ways for you to listen to good music or to participate in making music yourself.

We know that just as life journeys differ from person to person, so also do music preferences. A song that deeply moves one person may not be the same song that reaches another. Therefore we  choose spirit-centered music from many traditions in a conscious effort to include our whole community, from children through seniors and from beginners through experts.

Choir Director: Bill Alley

Pianist: Diane Musgrave

If you like to sing please join our choir. Some of our members have excellent musical training but some of us are beginners too. We can find a good spot that fits you. And, a bonus awaits all who join the choir: not only is your singing and worship experience enhanced, but you become part of a wonderfully caring, supportive group.

Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm, with a “brush-up” on Sunday mornings, 45 minutes before the 10:00 am worship services. Check our church calendar or call the church office if you wish to confirm dates and times.

Hand Bell Choir

Our church handbell choir is fun and sounds beautiful. Ringing handbells is for all age groups including children.  Reading music is not a requirement. We would love to have you join us.
