Consideration! We Die to Sin, but Live to God in Christ
Please join us at 10:00 AM on Sunday, June 21, as we gather to celebrate Father’s Day and give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who have touched our lives with love, guidance, and faith. Come worship with us as we lift our hearts to God through prayer, fellowship, and beautiful music from our pianist,Jean Cole. The Scripture reading will be from Romans 6:1–11, and Pastor Kata’i’i Tapa will bring a meaningful message titled “ Consideration! We Die to Sin, but Live to God in Christ.”
Following worship, we invite everyone to stay for our Father’s Day Summer Kickoff Barbecue and Church Picnic! There will be delicious food, fun games, laughter, prizes, and a wonderful opportunity to spend time together as a church family. Whether you are a longtime member, a first-time visitor, or looking for a church home, there is a place for you at our table. Feel free to dress casually! We encourage comfortable attire so everyone can join in the games and festivities after worship.
As we celebrate together, we also want to surround our dear sister Loretta and Alex with Christian love and support as they prepare for their move to Oregon. If you feel called to do so, we invite you to bring a love offering to help bless them on this new journey. Most importantly, we ask that you keep them in your prayers as they step into this new chapter of life. As God’s people, we are called to walk alongside one another in times of joy, transition, and new beginnings. Your presence, prayers, encouragement, and support are a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love.
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” — John 13:35
We look forward to welcoming you with open hearts and open arms this Sunday. Come celebrate, connect, and be part of the love and fellowship that make our church family so special.
