Crystal Springs Players Drama Club

We are recruiting new members for the drama club at Crystal Springs UMC.   Our group is called the Crystal Springs Players which has a rich 20 year history producing plays on our unique stage in the round.

The club supports Crystal Springs Players by providing a enjoyable way for members to learn about every aspect of drama … from being a stage hand, to acting, to directing.   This is a great low-key way to be involved in drama if you participated before in high school or college production, would like to learn what drama is all about,  or even if your main interest is in being a spectator.

Besides putting on major & minor Crystal Springs Players productions, club members meet infrequently throughout the year for readings, selecting plays, learning from local experts, giving small plays known as chancel dramas in church services and generally having fun with drama together.

On December 21st 2013, we presented a Christmas drama called “Portraits of Christmas.”   For the 2014 Easter season we presented a series of six chancel dramas.
