We Are the Good Tenants
Come worship with us at Crystal Springs United Methodist Church Oct 4th at 10am, as we gather for the first Sunday of October and World Communion Sunday. Special music from our Bell Choir Scripture: Matthew 21:33–46 Message: Pastor Kata’i’i Tapa “We Are the Good Tenants” This Sunday will also be a tender time for our church family as we remember two beloved members we have recently lost Bill Alley, our choir director, and Emma Francis, a cherished member of our Tongan Fellowship. Our church has been deeply touched by these two losses. We remember Bill and the passion he had for music and how he used his gifts in service to the Lord. We also remember Emma Francis, her life, her faith, and the love she shared within our Tongan Fellowship and church family.
The prayer “For Those We Love” spoke deeply to our hearts during this time: Those we love are in God’s loving embrace and are at peace. We place them in God’s loving care, knowing they have reached their eternal home. Though our hearts grieve, our faith reminds us that death does not have the final word. We hold onto the promise that Bill and Emma are now resting in the loving arms of our Lord. One Table. One Family. One Faith. Come as you are. Come to worship. Come to remember. Come to the Lord’s Table as one church family.Sunday, October 4 • 10:00 AM Crystal Springs United Methodist ChurchMay we surround one another with prayer, love, and the peace of Christ during this difficult time.
